About
I have a deep passion for community cats but also for crafting and sewing. My grandmother gave me my first sewing machine, a 1940's Singer, when I was young. She taught me basic sewing skills, making "petal pushers" and pajamas with fun fabrics. I went on from there to teach myself how to quilt and repair clothing. Now I sew anything time allows!
My mother instilled in me the desire to honor God's creation. I grew up on a small farm in Texas. We rescued countless animals, from cats to horses. I loved them all but my love for cats is beyond any other. As I moved into the city as an adult, I was shocked to see how many homeless cats there are and that very few people did anything to help them. I now am a part of the TNR efforts in Dallas/Fort Worth where I trap, neuter, vaccinate, and return cats to their habitat. I also find myself fostering the occasional cat or kittens for local rescues.
A portion of every sale goes toward the care for these community cats. I am so blessed to be able to give back with my small talents and I am incredibly grateful to every one of you that has supported my small business.
